Orlando
We’ve finally arrived! And now that we’re here I’ve been solo with the kids for a few days while Hubby works. We are saving the big exciting splurge Orlando stuff (like Disney parks) for when he’s done so I’ve been trying to keep the toddlers entertained without going into serious debt. Road Tripping: Pediatrician Approved
We made it safely down to Florida (with only one set of teeth marks in someone’s arm) after our long drive! Enjoying A Vacation With Kids
“Is it really a vacation though?” I have heard this so many times – taking your kids on vacation can be just as (if not more) exhausting than being at home with them if you let it, but we have learned our own ways to ENJOY time as a family. Holiday Traditions
I’m sure everyone has their own little holiday traditions and things that they do to make it a special time for the kids, but for us it doesn’t even begin to feel like the holidays until we go get our tree! We always struggled as a couple trying to switch off Christmas Eve between the in-laws until we had kids. Going Out To Eat With Three Babies
No one wants to be the loudest table in the restaurant and no one wants to be the family that leaves the place trashed (trust me we’ve been there). But we’ve been able to take our kids successfully to some pretty nice restaurants. Below is my strategy of some success – useful for anyone whether dining out with one or three infants. My kids new obsession is “seeing the birdies” aka going out on the front steps to see if there are any birds around. Sesame Place: The Chaos of Fun
So you might say I’m a glutton for punishment, but I love to take my babies to theme parks! Why Did No One Ever Tell Me About Swim Diapers?
Why The Big Secret? Okay. Swim Diapers. Great idea right? Diapers that work in the pool and don’t get gross and weigh your kids down. Awesome! BUT. THEY. DON’T. HOLD. PEE.
