    “Is it really a vacation though?” I have heard this so many times – taking your kids on vacation can be just as (if not more) exhausting than being at home with them if you let it, but we have learned our own ways to ENJOY time as a family.     Recently one of our EI specialists asked me how I manage to do the things that I do with three toddlers in tow, working with so many families who feel they can barely leave the house with one.     So we just returned from our first long distance solo trip since kids and phew… It was the first time we left them for a whole weekend ever so I’ve never been away this far or for this long!
